I had the day off work today so Karl and I braved the chaos downtown for a little bit of sightseeing. I refuse to line up for anything short of lifesaving surgery or a trans-Atlantic flight, so we didn't do any of the pavilions, and I'm still not a big fan of the Olympics so we kept it brief. A couple of hours was plenty of time.
Red is my least favorite colour to wear, but I do have a couple of items. I won this gold and red sweater from a giveaway on
Style Symmetry, from
Poochie's Closet. I was happy to have it today; I'm certainly not going to be buying any Olympic merchandise!
To highlight the obnoxiousness of a redhead in red, I added my bright matte pink lipstick. Breakin' all the rules today.
** Note the blooming clematis and daffodils. I love how the warmest February even coincides with the "winter" Olympics.
