Stretch

I love it when little things change my life for the better. Like making my own granola - it seriously gave me a whole new optimism in the morning. I've been doing it for about five years now and I can't imagine life without it. Another example is this yoga stretch that a client showed me when I complained about feeling a little out of whack after I fell off my bike. And I love it now and do it almost every day. It makes my back feel so much better, and it only takes a minute or two. I'm not really a yoga person, but this works for me.

find out more here.

Has anything simple made a drastic improvement in your life lately?

  1. You know, cleaning my house really thoroughly made me feel really happy and relaxed. We also organized and bought a few things to warm up the look of the house, like throw pillows for the couch (yet 'someone' keeps bringing the bed pillows back out to the couch), new picture frames, and some baskets for all the Wii accessories and stuff like that. Small things, but they make my house look better, and that in turn makes me happier. Less clutter, ya know? I also tried your yoga stretch last night, but without the wall because I was already in bed. It was pretty good but I'm going to try it with the wall next. Did you try out the Yoga place yet?

  2. yesterday i strung a minature clothesline of twine inside my bathroom cupboard to hang my dangly earrings on. this'll keep my earrings organized and visible, which means i'll wear them more and be excited to buy new danglies.

also, in other "line" news, i bought a jump rope, for when i don't have time/don't feel like going to gym. so far, it's harder than the gym, though.
