Let the conversion begin.
I got new shampoo and conditioner. It has everything I wanted, nothing I didn't, and came very highly recommended at the health-food store. The brand name is Prairie Naturals, and it's even made in BC, and cost $12.50 for 500 ml. They have lots of different formulas for different hair types, and despite having no artificial fragrances, the products smell wonderful. I feel like they could do with the help of a graphic designer, because I was tempted by the pretty Alba and Burt's Bees bottles, but after three very satisfying washes, I'm ready to let that go. I'll keep y'all posted on the continuing conversion.

I will try it once my hair is grown-out and 100 per cent natural.
ReplyDeletePS: Did you know Burt's Bees is owned by Clorox? (My mom uses that question as a tactic to sell her lip balms to BB-using customers.)
Ooo, I'll try too!! I did NOT know about Burt's Bees & Clorox! Ugggh!
ReplyDeleteAh- Where can I get my hands on your mom's lip balm? I love it and it's probably much cheaper than the stuff I buy. Can I buy through you? What else does she make?
i will snag you a balm (sounds dirty) next time i see her. she does the balms and healing salves and insect repellant.
